Gethsemane Cemetery – Little Ferry

County-owned historic site established in 1860 – 1930 for the purpose of burying African-Americans. Listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places, the cemetery played a significant role in New Jersey’s late 19th century Civil Rights legislation. Currently being restored for self-guided tours.
