Historic New Bridge Landing – River Edge
Historic New Bridge Landing site is where George Washington and the Continental Army made a retreat in November of 1776 after the disastrous battle of Brooklyn Heights. Site also features the Zabriskie-Von Steuben House which is listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places. This maintained by the NJ Division of Parks and Forestry museum features collections from the period. Please call 201-487-1739 for museum information and viewing hours.
